New light bulbs: what’s the difference? Traditional incandescent bulbs use a lot of energy to produce light and over 90% of the energy is wasted as heat. Whereas, the energy-efficient light bulbs use about 20%-80% less energy than the traditional incandescent, saving a lot of money.
An average household spends about 5% of its energy budget to lighting. Switching to energy-efficient lighting is one of the easiest ways to cut the energy bills.
Light Design are a global event lighting company. We are renowned for delivering very high quality event lighting to large and small events. We recently worked with the Apollo in Malia Greece and the O2 Academy Brixton in London amongst many other famous venues. Don’t let our international experience put you off as we also work with smaller venues and can provide bespoke event lighting to those looking for a professional and creative option at a cost effective price.
Overwhelmed? We appreciate that there is a lot to think about, and you could easily get carried away, leaving your budget behind. If you don't know where to start (or when to call it a day) the Light Design team can help you organise your design and offer advice on creating the perfect bespoke event lighting package.
Comparing cost: While replacing the light bulbs, the budget is an important factor in deciding which lighting option to choose. It is necessary to buy good quality bulbs that last longer rather than buying a dozen or cheaper ones that keep burning out.
